NAILSSS DID: Craving Candy.

about a month ago, i asked my facebook & twitter friends if they had any cool/random nail art themes &.. if i liked it, ill try to create their idea, then feature it in my next nails did post. well, one of my girlfriends, arlene suggested i do a candy theme. candy theme? sweeeeet! of course this would come from a girl who loves them ridiculously ;]



if you haven't notice, seasons inspire my mood. since winter's almost over, i've been showing my colorful polishes a lot more love. anyway, for "craving candy," i wanted each nail to have a different type of candy.

Bridezillllllla, [part one].

temperatures are rising; spring & summer is on its way. which means a lot more weddings, proms, & other formals are also being planned. in my case the busiest time of the year for me, with HAIR.

the reason for part one is because i have a few more wedding trials/appointments scheduled to do.. so far. my first kick off, was with my soon-to-be IN-LAWS. i did my first trial with josephine (the bride) & we actually have another one next month before the big day. so, you’ll see her a few more times on my blog.



the hairstyle that josephine wanted was a simple up-do; ½ up & down in curls.



unexpectedly as a thank you gift, josephine went out her way to make me business cards! along with a really cute zebra case :] i was seriously surprised & hella happy cuz the other day, i was literally just talking about making some myself. talk bout a coincidence. thank you again, josephine! theyre perfect.

bleh, glitter rhinestoned nails. nothing mind blowing & prolly the most "normal" design ive done on myself up to date. mainly because my 4-day valentines weekend had me extremely busy! :] when i dont have time & my nails are doneSON, i throw on a solid color. but if my shit was finna be boring, i thought id go with something fun like GLITTER. & then glitter wasnt enough.. so, wit the lil amount of time i had, i snuck a few rhinestones. the placement of them sorta reminded me of a disco ball, hence 'glitter + shine' = confetti disco. but anyway, this could totally be a diy for you guys. themed nails next week, i promise!

last night. after grindin' for 10hrs, ontop a retarded ass meeting that kept me later than usual in the office.. i still had time to make some dolla dolla bills yall. $$$? dont play me, i gets it. readers, meet my newest customer lalina from the east bay. she's headed out to LA this weekend to spend time wit her boo & wanted to get some "alicia keys" braids. although i had a few designs sketched out & ready.. lalina decided that she wanted to keep it simple, so we wit a scoop/curved design.

so, ive been thinking. for all the girls who arent in the bay area, that want to rock some a.sade nail art.. how would you feel if i took acrylic requests & had them up for sale?



i personally dont wear 'em; i like that i can turn out my natural shit into some dope ass piece of art. buuuut i would love to share my work around the world to every girl who also loves having their nails did. since acrylics come in a pack of assorted sizes, i would just need ya'll to measure across the bottom width of your cuiticles to make sure its a perfect fit (does that make sense?) & just pay thru paypal :]

valentines edition. forget the cheesy 'i love you' hearts, sweets, cupids, smooches, bears.. & pink/red colorways. this week, im keepin' it personal. when i think of 'lovers day,' i think about showing my man how much i love & appreciate him. especially in the bedroom. ‘g-strings, thongs, boyshorts, grannies, silks & lace. on the 14th, im sure a lot of you are gonna get it on all over the place. whatever the case, that sexy underwear will eventually be replaced.’ haaa.. & even tho that rhymed, dont quote me for my retard line.

i created a "price chart" for ya'll that are interested in settin' up any type of future appointment. reasonable? yes. im mos def hookin' ya'll up compared to the shop. cuz although, i grind my 9-5.. i still love to hustle happy. happy to have my customers walk out the door in some asade work & happy to practice on gettin' creative. besides, who says you need school to know these skills? true story, i dont. practice makes perfect, pursing is my dream & new strangers are always welcome to my services.
